The … Read more A handsome set of three Organic Modern rattan and cane side nesting tables made by McGuire, San Francisco, CA. The distinctive set is comprised of two larger matching tables measuring 2 feet wide and a smaller one able to nest under either of them offering multiple configurations. Each table features rattan pole and oak construction with an inset of woven raffia cane on the tray top surface. The frames are constructed with straight rattan pole columns ending in small brown floor glides. The columns are connected by pairs of side stretchers and a central stretcher on one side, all joined by leather rawhide lace joinery. The rattan and cane are finished in a rich dark espresso-tone stain. Crafted in an Organic Modern style with a subtle Ming Asian influence, the set is well-suited for a variety of spaces as end tables, side tables, drinks tables or nightstands. Each table has a brass McGuire manufacturer's plaque underneath. The tables are solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. Measurements listed are of the two larger tables. Smallest table measures 24" wide, 20" deep, and 20" tall. Sold as a set of three.
