The basket’s rim is crowned by a continuous row of tall, looping scrolls that curl like tendrils, while its sides are formed from crisscrossed wire in a diamond lattice that reads almost like lacework. Below, four slim legs are joined by a large central oval of flowing, bowed wire, with small spirals, S-curves, and curled tendrils branching from the uprights.
