A mid century frame goatee painting by Karl Sherman.

Karl Sherman (1903-1979)

Karl Sherman was an American Modernist, artist, painter and print maker based primarily in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.
Pardon the light reflections in the photography. The painting does not have any white spots.

This painting depicts an expressionist landscape, with a fractured architectural interior and industrial scene.
Colorful and abstract.

Framed in a dark wood frame behind a acrylic and an off white mat.

Minor surface wear to the frame.
We have not removed the painting from the frame but it appears to be in very good condition.

Frame 31.25" W x 25.25" H
Mat 3"
