Here is a beautiful vintage Neoclassical cachepot, attributed to Incolay and dating to about the 1960-70s. The cylindrical form features a soft dusty pink stone and resin finish, that mimics real solid stone, with intricate ivory-colored relief decoration, including classical dancing figures, floral scrollwork, and a framed cameo portrait.
Inspired by traditional Wedgwood jasperware, but much more durable, the contrasting colors and beautifully detailed classical motifs give this piece an elegant, antique-inspired appearance. Its generous proportions make it a lovely decorative accent, perfect for displaying a potted plant with a protective liner or simply enjoyed as a sculptural vessel. I think it would also be wonderful as a waste bin or ice bucket - a very versatile and striking piece.
