The serpentine case holds two long drawers with carved fronts, giving the front a soft, sculpted rhythm. Below them, the shaped apron is carved with flowing acanthus vines, a classic motif of French Rococo design. The chest stands on elegant cabriole legs ending in hoof feet. The walnut has developed an old, pleasing patina that adds warmth and depth. A refined accent for an entry, living room, or bedroom. See less
