A beautifully curated set of six authentic French herbarium specimens, dated 1965 and professionally custom framed in sleek black frames. Each piece features delicately preserved and labeled botanical samples, offering a refined blend of natural history and understated European elegance.
The warm, time-softened paper contrasts beautifully with the minimalist framing, making this collection ideal for both traditional and modern interiors. Display as a full gallery wall or style individually for a collected, scholarly look.
Sourced in France, these original mid-century specimens bring a sense of quiet sophistication and organic texture to any space—perfect for lovers of botanical art, French provincial décor, or timeless natural curiosities.
Dimensions (each): 14.25"W x 0.5"D x 20.5"H
Origin: France
Date: 1965
Condition: Consistent with age; light wear and imperfections. Paper color is slightly darker/lighter on each herbarium. The photos do accurately show the variations.
I do have an additional two sets in my Chairish shop of 9 herbariums each from the same original set and framed identically. A set of 15, 18 or 24 could be made by combining these sets.
