Vintage 1970s Hollywood Regency extra-large table lamps retailed by Sears, featuring opalescent glass fonts in the distinctive style of Carl Falkenstein. Elevate your interior with this magnificent, grand-scale pair. These statement pieces beautifully capture the theatrical, high-glam aesthetic of the mid-to-late 20th century. Standing at an impressive 44 inches tall (with shades on), they offer the rare monumental scale sought after by interior designers.
Each lamp features a heavy, ornate cast-brass footed pedestal base inset with a thick, genuine white Italian marble block. The large, elegant urn-shaped body boasts a beautiful pearlescent cream and tan satin finish adorned with detailed white and gold gilded floral panels. An intricate brass filigree/openwork column supports a stylized leaf-motif cup below the socket.
The silhouette is perfectly completed by the highly rare, original scalloped-edge fabric drum shades. The shades feature delicate metallic gold embroidered flower appliques and custom braided trim along both the top and bottom scalloped borders.

Very good vintage structural and cosmetic condition. The heavy brass components and marble bases present beautifully with minimal, age-appropriate patina. *Please Note: There is a minor, slight tear on the interior fabric lining of each shade. This is completely localized to the inside lining, is entirely hidden from view, and does not affect the exterior aesthetic or light diffusion when lit. Additionally, there is some minor rust visible on the interior of the decorative metal flower/leaf-motif cup on the lamp neck, again hidden from view. The white marble bases show minor vintage wear, including a tiny flea bite chip on one corner edge and a small, faint chip/rough spot along another edge (see detailed photos). These minor cosmetic flaws are entirely consistent with age and do not distract from the grand, stately presentation of the pair. Both lamps are fully functional with original sockets stamped "Sears, Made in U.S.A."
