The case is crafted from solid hardwood featuring all-over rhythmic hand-gouged adze relief carving across the top border, pilasters, cabinet door frames, and outer leg posts. Set within the frame are lustrous inset panels across the top deck, cabinet doors, and side elevations, each finished in a high-gloss mottled glaze that evokes antique tortoiseshell or patinated parchment.
Functionally designed for modern living, the upper case features a central open two-tier compartment ideal for media components, books, or decorative objects, flanked by two storage cabinets fitted with forged wrought iron twisted-wire bar pulls. Below, an expansive full-length stretcher shelf provides generous open display space for oversized art volumes or ceramic vessels while anchoring the piece with an airy, architectural presence.
Equally suited as a media console, dining room buffet server, or floating sofa table in Spanish Revival, Mediterranean Modern, Santa Barbara, and eclectic luxury interiors.
