Representative double-winged bookcase - showcase made of solid oak wood, made at the end of the 19th century in the classicist style. High-quality craftsmanship, noble material and rich hand-carved decoration give this piece of furniture an elegant and timeless character. The front of the bookcase consists of two glass doors with finely profiled partitions, in the lower part of which there are fillings decorated with plastic hand-carving of flower baskets hung on ribbons. The same decor is repeated on the upper frieze, where the flower basket is complemented by symmetrically developed leaf and flower tendrils. The vertical parts of the frame are decorated with carved floral ornaments. The whole is completed by a distinctively profiled upper cornice. The bookcase is made of selected oak wood with a distinctive natural pattern. The construction uses traditional joinery joints with a groove, tenon and wooden pins, which demonstrate high-quality craftsmanship. The doors are equipped with decorative fittings with plant motifs and a functional lock with a key. The interior is equipped with height-adjustable shelves, the position of which can be changed using a practical ladder system of wooden supports. The bookcase thus offers variable storage and exhibition space for books, porcelain, glass, art objects or collector's collections. Thanks to its harmonious proportions, high-quality oak wood and decorative carving, this antique bookcase represents a valuable example of historical joinery craftsmanship from the late 19th century. It is suitable for castle and historical interiors, representative offices, libraries and stylishly furnished living spaces. The bookcase has been preserved in good original condition with a natural patina corresponding to its age. The lock is fully functional, the key is included. The wood is free from active worm infestation according to the information provided.
