Representative two-wing antique bookcase - showcase made of solid oak wood, made around 1900 in the style of Rococo historicism. The furniture stands out for its rich hand-carved decoration, high-quality joinery and harmonious proportions that combine the elegance of historical furniture with practical use. The front of the bookcase consists of two partially glazed doors with finely profiled partitions. The lower wooden panels are decorated with a distinctive plastic carving with motifs of rocaille ornaments, volutes, stylized flowers and plant tendrils. The rich ornamental decoration is also repeated on the vertical parts of the structure and the upper frieze, the center of which is emphasized by a decorative shell motif. The lower part of the bookcase is equipped with two practical drawers with decorative fittings and hand-carved plant motifs. Below the drawers is an elegantly wavy lip with a distinctive central shell carving, complemented by symmetrical volutes and flower ornaments. The front prismatic legs are decorated with a deep plastic carving of stylized acanthus leaves. The bookcase is made of solid oak with a beautiful natural pattern and a warm brown shade. The glass upper part allows for a clear display of books, porcelain, glass, art objects or collectors' collections. The interior space is divided by wooden shelves, while the lower drawers provide additional storage space. A great practical advantage of this historical bookcase is the possibility of dismantling the structure into individual parts, which greatly facilitates transportation, handling and moving even to difficult-to-access interiors. This richly carved oak bookcase represents an impressive example of high-quality furniture craftsmanship from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Thanks to its decorative Rococo concept and representative appearance, it is perfectly suited to castle interiors, historical libraries, elegant offices, salons and stylishly furnished residences. The condition is very good, without worm infestation. The lock is functional and the key is included.
The cabinet is detachable for easier transport. Date: around 1900 Style: Rococo historicism – neo-Rococo Material: solid oak wood, glass, metal fittings
