The rectangular top displays beautifully figured rosewood veneer, framed by a delicate geometric inlaid border with contrasting wood and mother-of-pearl accents at each corner. The architectural double-pedestal base features substantial cylindrical columns, sculptural geometric supports, and a central stretcher embellished with fine brass detailing. Brass collars and sabots provide an elegant contrast to the rich, warm tones of the rosewood, highlighting the refined craftsmanship and sophisticated proportions characteristic of French Art Deco design. Originally designed with pull-out extensions at either end, the table retains its integrated extension mechanism; the original leaves are no longer present.
