Maison Lecan presents this trio of solid pine stools from the 1970s, inspired by the furniture of Les Arcs, the resort designed around Charlotte Perriand, with a nod to the forms of Alvar Aalto.
The design is straightforward: a round, thick seat nestled between square legs that support it from the sides. The pine has acquired a beautiful honey hue that highlights its grain.
They are perfectly stable and in good vintage condition, with the small signs of wear characteristic of solid wood that has seen better days.
