Its name comes from the Latin word oculus, meaning a circular opening or eye, an architectural idea translated here into a composition of light, rhythm, and movement.
Three illuminated alabaster spheres are arranged at different heights along a slender central stem, each framed by a curved brass arm that recalls a glowing architectural aperture. When lit, the natural veining of the alabaster becomes visible, diffusing the light into a warm and atmospheric glow. The aged brushed brass structure introduces a subtle texture, while refined knurled details add depth and tactility to the design.
Tall and slender, the Oculus Floor Lamp creates a strong sculptural presence without adding visual weight. Its warm ambient light and distinctive silhouette make it suitable for luxury hotel lobbies, lounges and suites, restaurants, bars and boutique retail interiors. In residential spaces, it works beautifully beside a sofa, in a reading corner, hallway or statement area.
Designed and crafted by Porus Studio, the Oculus Floor Lamp combines natural alabaster, aged brass and architectural geometry in a contemporary luxury lighting piece.
