A 1960s Swedish teak bookcase, conceived as a multifunctional piece combining a bookcase, writing surface, and storage space. The upper section features adjustable open shelves and three small drawers for documents, recognizable by their distinctive recessed circular handles. The pull-out top creates a large writing surface and reveals a pronounced wood grain. The base includes a compartment closed by two doors with an internal shelf and four drawers at the sides; the entire composition rests on tapered legs. A solution representative of the 1960s Scandinavian research into compact furniture capable of integrating multiple functions into a single structure. Good condition. May show signs of wear.
