The piece represents the characteristic qualities of Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern design, combining a clean, elegant form with outstanding functionality.

The table is crafted from teak wood. Its oval tabletop and slender, gently tapered legs give the substantial piece a sense of visual lightness and harmonious proportions. The table retains its original Troeds Bjärnum – Made in Sweden maker’s label, confirming the manufacturer and Swedish origin. The table features two additional extension leaves, allowing its length to be increased from 155 cm to 210 cm with one leaf, or to a maximum of 265 cm with both leaves inserted. When fully extended, the table comfortably accommodates approximately 10–12 people, making it ideal for a large dining room or an elegant entertaining space.

The table has undergone comprehensive professional woodworking restoration. The wooden elements were stripped of the old coating, stained in an oak colour, and finished with a durable high-quality semi-matt lacquer, which protects the surface while enhancing the natural grain of the teak.
