A cast iron architectural finial from the late 19th century, formed as a flame rising above a fluted, gadrooned ball. The midsection carries an anthemion motif on each face. A mounting bracket and square base plate with corner bolt holes remain intact, evidence of how the piece was originally fastened to a post or roofline.
