The oval tabletop is fitted with two hinged leaves supported by traditional swinging gateleg assemblies, allowing the table to expand from a narrow 23-inch closed width to a full 60-inch dining surface.

Baluster-turned legs with ring and spool detailing are joined by decorative turned stretchers and square structural blocks, while the dark-finished top contrasts with the warmer brown understructure.

From the late 20th century, the table reflects English Revival furniture traditions through its proportion, turning, and space-saving construction. Very good overall condition, with a beautifully presenting tabletop, one repaired crack in the top, and minor scuffs on the legs.
