From the desert-modern enclave of Rancho Mirage, California - this is Nova of California's contemporary interpretation of the iconic Danish PH 3/2 table lamp.

Designed around Poul Henningsen's 1928 anti-glare principle, the lamp features three graduated fleur shades that conceal the light source while casting a soft, even pool of light downward. The exterior is finished in a soft matte black, while the interior of each tier is finished in warm gold leaf - visible in detail - which warms the light and creates that signature halo glow when lit, as shown in lifestyle.

The stem and substantial 9" round base are rendered in brushed brass with a hand-finished patina. Weighted and solid, with the original NOVA makers tag on the base. This is not a hollow reproduction.

This is the perfect bedside companion - at 29" tall with a generous 19" shade diameter, it provides true reading light without the harsh glare of a typical fabric shade lamp. We love it as a pair on mid-century walnut nightstands, in a Palm Springs bedroom or Hollywood Regency living room.

Condition: New, in original box. Never used. From Nova of California authorized inventory. See less
