The top consists of 2 wide oak planks, whose rich patina combines with their woodgrain to create a nicely varied surface. The short sides of the table are capped with breadboard ends, which creates a thoughtful, fully-finished look. All four corners of the tabletop are cut diagonally, as a unique added detail. The support is made with square legs and an H-form stretcher running the length of the table to provide added support. In the joinery of the base, we find even wooden pegs and dowels inserted into the wood, which add a charming hand-made touch to the piece. This table is suitable for a range of design styles and can comfortably accommodate 6-8 sitters. Gently cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, ready for use in your interiors. We believe this to be in good antique condition considering the age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos.
