The piece features a gracefully flowing serpentine hump-back flanked by English style scrolled and rolled arms. The bench is raised on classic Marlborough-style legs with carved reeded edges, joined by a central H-stretcher. The mahogany frame has a warm walnut finish with a beautifully aged patina. The frame has solid joinery and construction in exceptional condition. The seat is upholstered in a crisp blue and ivory ticking stripe fabric with a welted piping tracing the edges, giving the bench a relaxed coastal charm. The vintage fabric shows well and is very presentable. The piece is well-suited for a variety of spaces as a window bench, loveseat, settee, entry bench, or at the end of a bed.
