The process is labor-intensive in which the copper plate is roughened up with a tool that makes a dense texture. The plate is then scraped and burnished to produce light and color on the paper. This piece was purchased directly from the artist when he visited my gallery in San Diego in the early 2000s. Schkolnyk has had major exhibitions in Europe, the U.S., and Asia. This piece, with its rich and moody colors is 75 of 90 and is signed by the artist. Art opening is 4.5”x3.5” See less
