The deeply textured exterior creates a striking play of light and shadow, while the dark finish gives the naturalistic form a bold, architectural presence. The interior retains an earthy concrete appearance, contrasting with the black exterior. Drainage openings are visible in the base.

Faux bois, French for “false wood,” describes decorative objects that recreate the appearance of wood in another material. Here, the log form becomes a distinctive jardinière that offers visual interest even when displayed without planting.

Style with ferns or trailing greenery for a woodland-inspired arrangement, or use removable nursery pots to create a seasonal display. Its horizontal silhouette makes an appealing accent for a conservatory, sunroom, or garden-inspired interior, pairing particularly well with wicker, aged brass, stone, and traditional furnishings.
