Add a touch of classic romance to a vanity, mantel, or bridal display with this authentic vintage Lladró porcelain figurine titled "Wedding" (Model #4808). Masterfully designed by sculptor Julio Fernández, this iconic piece was introduced in 1972 and retired in 2005, making it a timeless collector's favorite.
Standing just under 8 inches tall, the sculpture captures a sophisticated bride and groom arm-in-arm. The groom is sharply dressed in a classic grey morning suit and ascot tie while holding a top hat . The bride features a beautifully detailed veil and gown adorned with delicate bows down the front cradling an incredible, spherical bouquet made entirely of meticulously hand-applied porcelain flower petals.
Finished in a gorgeous high-gloss glaze and the brand's legendary soft pastel palette, the base is fully stamped with the blue Lladró tulip hallmark and incised with the official model number 4808. A perfect, elegant gift for anniversaries, engagements, or a classic wedding display.

The exterior porcelain body and glossy glaze are pristine, showing no cracks, chips, or structural repairs. Crucially, the highly fragile elements are completely undamaged; the dozens of tiny, individually hand-applied petals in the bride's bouquet, her floral headpiece, and the groom's lapel flower are entirely whole and pristine. Note for Transparency: When the figurine is gently shaken, there is a minor internal rattling sound. This is a common and harmless result of the manufacturing process, occurring when a tiny piece of porcelain venting clay breaks loose inside the hollow interior during kiln firing. The piece remains 100% structurally intact with absolutely no missing external parts or flaws. less
