The ladder backs and soft cushions give a rustic set a light, airy look. The 1960s and 1970s embraced natural materials, handcrafted textures and a relaxed way of living, and furniture of the period often reads as sculptural. A natural patina has developed over the decades, adding depth that cannot be reproduced. It brings warmth and character to a seating group and rewards the person who sits down in it. See less
