The tall backs and the forged iron stretchers give them a handsome, rustic-refined look. French Provincial furniture grew from the regional workshops of the countryside, which adapted court styles into sturdier, simpler forms in local woods, built for daily life in the home. A natural patina has developed over the decades, adding depth that cannot be reproduced. Whether anchoring a reading corner or completing a grouping, it carries the quiet confidence of a well-made seat. See less
