This set of six 1960s Brutalist oak Mobichalet dining chairs from Belgium, made in heavy oak with chunky, sculptural frames. The rough-hewn, chunky forms are deliberately raw and massive. Brutalist design of the 1960s and 1970s favored bold, sculptural and heavily built forms in natural materials such as oak, with a deliberately raw and weighty presence. A natural patina has developed over the decades, adding depth that cannot be reproduced. It brings warmth and character to a seating group and rewards the person who sits down in it.
We would be delighted to discuss pricing and shipping arrangements with you.
