Dating stylistically to the 1970s, this vintage occasional table combines the warmth of natural materials with the relaxed character of bohemian and tropical-inspired furniture. The hexagonal tabletop features closely arranged bamboo slats, secured with traditional-style woven bindings and surrounded by a substantial rounded bamboo frame. Beneath the tabletop, six upright supports are complemented by decorative bamboo spindles and lower cross stretchers, creating an attractive architectural design. The natural variations in the bamboo, including its characteristic darker nodes, give the piece an authentic organic appearance. Compact and versatile, this table would work beautifully as a living room side table, occasional lamp table or decorative plant stand. Its understated design makes it particularly suitable for mid-century modern, bohemian, coastal and eclectic interiors.
