Handcrafted in Italy, this decorative scent bottle combines warm amber sommerso glass with a tall, sculptural stopper in clear crystal. The bottle has a broad, circular base that tapers upwards through gently sloping shoulders to a narrow, rounded neck. Its interior is formed from rich golden amber glass, encased within a substantial layer of colorless crystal using the traditional Venetian sommerso technique. The contrasting glass layers create remarkable optical depth, with the amber appearing suspended within the transparent exterior. A particularly distinctive feature is the elongated, pointed stopper. Formed from clear glass, its tapered, almost architectural silhouette echoes the conical profile of the bottle beneath. The juxtaposition of the two forms creates a striking, balanced composition. Standing 22 cm tall, the bottle has considerable presence, making it equally appealing as a functional perfume flacon or a decorative example of mid-century Italian art glass.
