A large danish art nouveau ceramic table lamp by hans peter knudsen, made at his own workshop in denmark during the 1920s. The impressive, tapered ceramic base features a beautifully textured surface with pronounced horizontal ridges and a richly nuanced glaze in reddish-brown, deep umber, and earthy tones. Its sculptural silhouette and tactile finish reflect the individuality of handcrafted ceramics from the period. The lamp comes with a vintage cream pleated shade. A distinctive example of early danish decorative arts, combining art nouveau influences with the natural materials and understated elegance of scandinavian design. An exceptional statement piece for a curated interior or collection of vintage ceramics and lighting.
