Upholstered in thick natural cognac leather, the chair features generous proportions with a deeply padded seat, high backrest and softly rounded armrests. Hand-stitched detailing along the cushions emphasizes the craftsmanship of the design. The chair rests on a sculptural four-star aluminium swivel base. Its backrest gently reclines with the movement and weight of the user, providing a comfortable and relaxed seating position. The generous upholstery, rounded forms and combination of leather and aluminium give the DS-31 its distinctive character, balancing comfort with the strong proportions typical of De Sede designs from this period.
