The “F10 - 001” chaise longue was designed by Antti Nurmesniemi, while his wife, textile designer Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi, designed the fabric covers. The chaise longue was produced by their joint company, Vuokko Oy.
The piece offered here is a very early and rare model featuring wheels and the iconic red-and-white striped cover. A special stroke of luck: The original owner purchased two covers at the time. Therefore, in addition to one cover—which has faded slightly over the years and shows minimal signs of wear—the set also includes a second cover that is in nearly mint condition (see last photo / In the other pictures, the chaiselongue is covered with the new-looking cover. ). The steel tubing has developed a beautiful, subtle patina over the years. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
