An exceptional late-20th-century Postmodern Parsons dining table by Mastercraft of Grand Rapids, executed in richly figured bookmatched olive ash burl and highlighted by flush-inset continuous brass channel stringing.

Exemplifying Mastercraft’s hallmark craftsmanship, the table features a high-gloss lacquered top with cloud-like concentric burl whorls, softly rounded waterfall apron shoulders, and square legs that subtly taper on their inner faces toward the floor. A continuous ribbon of inset brass inlay traces horizontally along the lower apron before executing a precise radius bend at each corner to travel vertically down the outer corner margins of the legs.

Equipped with heavy-duty telescoping steel equalizing slides, the table opens effortlessly to accommodate one or both of its original 20-inch leaves, expanding from an intimate 60-inch footprint to a grand 100-inch banquet table seating up to 10 guests.
