Rare pair of original bedside tables, designed by Florence Knoll and manufactured in 1966 by Knoll International. Florence Knoll, trained as an architect under Eliel Saarinen and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, among others, co-founded Knoll and shaped modern interior design like few other designers. Her own furniture designs stand for clear geometry, perfect proportions, and timeless functionality—qualities that make these side tables sought-after classics of mid-century design to this day. The original Knoll International sticker is located on the underside.

The legs and tabletop are crafted from mahogany with an exceptionally expressive burl veneer, whose warm coloring and vibrant grain give each table an individual character. The inset drawer has been freshly lacquered in an elegant off-white, creating a striking, graphic contrast to the dark wood. A small, simple aluminum handle accentuates the minimalist design. These tables are ideal as bedside tables, side tables in the living room, or next to the sofa.

The bedside tables have been fully and professionally restored: the mahogany has been carefully refinished, the drawers relacquered, and all joints inspected. The tables are sturdy and ready for immediate use.
