The sphere features a smooth, glossy surface that appears to be made of a glow-in-the-dark material (likely synthetic resin or phosphorescent glass), exhibiting a bright, almost neon lime-green hue.

The sphere is prominently adorned with bands of fine gold lettering wrapping around its circumference. The largest characters read "大悲咒" (Great Compassion Mantra), while the surrounding text consists of the dense, traditional script of the mantra itself, beautifully applied in a raised gold finish. To the side of the main title is a small, square, gold seal mark containing four characters.

The accompanying wooden box is finished in a deep red lacquer and features an ornate, gold-painted design.
