These elegant vessels showcase exquisite craftsmanship and traditional Asian symbolism.

Each vase is masterfully cast and heavily embossed (repoussé) in high relief with a classic "Magpie on a Plum Branch" (Xique Deng Mei) motif. In Chinese culture, the magpie represents joy and good fortune, while the plum blossom symbolizes resilience and beauty. The raised elements—including the detailed feathers of the birds, the rugged texture of the tree bark, and the delicate blossoms—are beautifully silver-gilt, creating a striking contrast against the dark, patinated bronze background.

Featuring a classic Meiping (plum vase) silhouette with broad shoulders tapering down to a slender base, these vases have a substantial, solid feel (560 grams each). The dark bronze surface exhibits a rich, natural antique patina. They are perfect for displaying fresh or dried flowers, or as striking statement pieces on a mantel, bookshelf, or console table.
