These striking vessels are masterfully crafted from solid bronze and heavily gilded, showcasing an imperial aesthetic.

The bodies feature vibrant, intricate cloisonné enamel work, highlighted by a classic turquoise background with stylized golden dragons chasing a flaming pearl. The pieces are richly detailed: the domed lids are topped with a sculpted mythical beast (foo lion) finial, the sides feature prominent elephant-head handles, and the piece rests on three sturdy legs ending in elaborate beast-mask feet. The deep piercing in the lid allows for the release of fragrant incense smoke.

This majestic pair carries a beautiful antique patina. They are perfect for burning incense, potpourri, or simply as stunning, museum-quality decorative statements on a mantle, side table, or bookshelf.
