The chairs have been restored, with the wood being refinished/oiled in a way that preserves the patina. The straps and upholstery have been replaced and covered with a high-quality, exclusive fabric from Dedar in Milan.
The highly picturesque floral design with its bold brushstrokes is reminiscent of the painting techniques of the American Expressionists of the 20th century. Art meets a design classic. Designed by Nils Möller in 1951, the Model 71 chair is timeless and as relevant today as it was 70 years ago.
