Add a bold and auspicious statement to your space with this striking pair of vintage Shiwan Kiln glazed ceramic mythical beasts.
Featuring vibrant, highly saturated polychrome glazes in rich emerald greens, deep reds, and warm ambers, these figures represent traditional Chinese guardian lions or Qilin. One beast playfully rests its paw on a decorated brocade ball, symbolizing power and good fortune. The expressive facial features, detailed horns, and dynamic postures highlight the masterful, rustic craftsmanship characteristic of traditional Shiwan pottery.
This impressive pair makes a fantastic addition to an eclectic, maximalist, or Chinoiserie interior. Perfect for flanking a console table, guarding a bookshelf, or adding an exotic touch to an office or living room.
