The upper, middle, and lower sections of the body are each finished with a different William Morris pattern, 3 in total, all botanical designs from Morris & Co. in the late 19th century. William Morris (1834 to 1896) was an English textile and wallpaper designer and the founder of Morris & Co.

A carved leaf band, a stepped square plinth, and the collars have a metallic paint finish, and the lamp has a linen weave fabric wrapped neck. The style is Art Nouveau, Victorian, and neoclassical, and this chintz statement piece suits English traditional and traditional interiors.

The lamp measures 18 by 6 by 4 inches, socket to base. It is in fully working condition. It is sold as a lamp base only, with the harp fitting, and no shade is included. Use it on a console, a nightstand, a desk, a library table, an entry table, or in a sunroom. See less
