the design is strongly reminiscent of the sought-after creations of czechoslovakian designer josef hůrka for napako: a delicate tripod base of gleaming, freshly polished chrome forms the refined foundation. Resting upon this is the imposing cylindrical shade, its surface adorned with a diamond pattern of fine raffia. As the light refracts through the organic structure, the lamp creates an incomparably warm and inviting play of patterns in the room. We have professionally restored and completely refurbished this floor lamp: it has been rewired and fitted with a stylishly coordinated, curry-colored textile cable, a matching vintage-style yellow switch, and a new plug. The chrome is in beautiful, high-gloss condition, and the delicate wickerwork is also exceptionally well preserved. The lamp shows minimal, honest signs of age, which underscore its authentic character.
