A rare pair of antique French wood trade sign. The unique hand carved and painted pieces are in the form of a pole with a pennant. They state JOSEPH LAUZON / 1897 OUVRIER. Translated it's the name "Joseph Lauzon" on the one and the date and descriptive of "1897 craftsman" on the other—It could be craftsman or workman. The gorgeous pieces retain their original polychrome surface. The candy cane swirled pole shaft is topped by a ball and finial, which is then attached to the pennant. S superb set of decorative pieces and great addition to any sign collection.
