The vase was designed in the 1960s by Czech glass artist František Vízner (1936–2011) and produced at the glass technical syndicate Sklo Union (Heřmanova Huť).
The impressive cylindrical vase has a heavy, thick-walled glass mass with a strong architectural and brutalist design. The vase's structured surface creates dramatic light refraction and optical shifts depending on the viewing angle. This solid piece is as beautiful as a solitary glass sculpture in the window as it is filled with flower bouquets on a table or bench. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
