The upper section features three open shelves, providing an attractive setting for displaying ceramics, glassware, books or decorative objects. Alongside is a single-door cupboard opening to reveal three smaller internal shelves, offering additional organised storage. The substantial lower section is thoughtfully arranged with two drawers to the left and a single-door cupboard to the right. The cupboard contains a spacious internal shelf, providing useful concealed storage for larger items. The dresser retains its original brass handles and fittings, which complement the rich tones of the oak and contribute to its authentic period character. Raised upon elegantly turned legs united by a supporting stretcher, the dresser has a strong architectural presence while maintaining a beautifully balanced traditional silhouette. The oak displays pronounced natural figuring throughout, with rich warm colour and an attractive aged character highlighting the quality of the timber. Presented in excellent antique condition, with appropriate signs of age and use consistent with its early 20th-century origin. For ease of transportation and installation, the dresser separates into two sections. A substantial and versatile piece of traditional English furniture, ideally suited to a dining room, kitchen, country-house interior or sophisticated contemporary setting.
