A prime example of Scandinavian modernism, the vase features a captivating, biomorphiic hourglass silhouette with a dramatic wide collar. It is crafted in a beautiful, deep steel-blue / grey-blue tint of semi-crystal glass, anchored by a heavy, solid clear glass base that gives the piece a wonderful visual weight and stability.
True to the era, the original paper label is no longer present, which is very common for these mid-century pieces, but its iconic form and craftsmanship are unmistakable. A timeless addition to any collection of Finnish art glass or mid-century modern interiors This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
