A pale, textured surface is framed by bold black passages, while delicate blue-grey strokes, faint ochre accents and loosely defined shapes create a composition suspended between abstraction and figurative suggestion. A circular motif and architectural forms emerge from the layered marks, recalling fragments of a remembered landscape without settling into a literal narrative.

The restrained palette and translucent overlays lend the painting a quiet, introspective atmosphere. Its gestural lines retain the immediacy of drawing, while the interplay between erased-looking marks and darker contours gives the surface a sense of movement and visual depth.

Presented in a wooden inner frame and a contrasting black outer frame, Infanzia #3 offers a distinctive small-scale work from Massimo D’Orta’s exploration of childhood, memory and expressive mark-making. Its understated colours and contemporary character make it suitable for a private collection or a carefully curated modern interior. This piece has an attribution mark,
