Set against a textured pale ground bordered by deep black, the composition brings together energetic gestural lines, loosely defined architectural forms and a small ochre accent. Suggestive of a house, trees and familiar elements of a childhood landscape, these images remain deliberately ambiguous, suspended between figurative reference and expressive abstraction. The restrained palette of black, grey, ivory and earthy tones is enlivened by subtle touches of colour and the layered quality of the surface.

The painting conveys the immediacy of a spontaneous drawing while retaining the compositional tension and interpretative openness characteristic of D’Orta’s artistic language. Its intimate scale and expressive marks make it particularly suited to a contemporary art collection or a carefully curated interior.

Presented in a simple wooden frame, Infanzia #2 offers a compelling small-format work from a series devoted to the imagery and visual memory of childhood. This piece has an attribution mark,
