Its oval top features a rich marquetry decoration of scrolling foliage, floral garlands, and musical motifs on a burl wood background. This center is highlighted by a floral frieze on a blackened wood ground and an edge bordered with a gilt bronze molding.
This top opens to reveal an oval mirror framed by a molding, unveiling a compartmentalized storage box ideal for precious objects or sewing supplies.
The apron, also adorned with delicate floral marquetry and embellished with chased bronze mounts at the corners, rests on four tapered, turned blackened wood legs, enhanced with gilt finials and collars. A carved stretcher shelf, echoing the floral marquetry motifs on a precious burl wood background, reinforces the piece while adding further grace. Charming toupie feet complete the piece.

This refined and highly decorative work of art will integrate perfectly into both classic and contemporary interiors.
