The design beautifully captures the transition between the lingering decorative influences of Art Nouveau and the cleaner, more structured aesthetics of the Art Deco period.

The oval mirror plate is enclosed within a silver-painted frame featuring sculptural roses at both the crest and base. Flanking the lower section are symmetrical fan-shaped leaf carvings that lend the piece a sense of movement and sophistication. The silver finish has developed an attractive aged patina over time, with areas of wear revealing the darker ground beneath, enhancing the mirror's authentic period character.

Delicate yet decorative, this mirror offers a versatile accent suitable for bedrooms, dressing areas, powder rooms, hallways, or above a console table. Its subtle silver tones allow it to complement both traditional and contemporary interiors while adding a distinctly French decorative touch.

Good vintage condition consistent with age and use. Wear to the silver-painted finish with areas of the darker base showing through. Minor chips and losses to the carved decoration. The photographs should be consulted carefully, as they form part of the condition report and provide the most accurate representation of the item's current state, patina, and character. See less
