Originally created in 1884, this finely detailed work depicts a serene, snow-covered winter harbor scene with moored boats, docks, and historic riverbank buildings.
The piece features the artist's crisp, distinct signature in-plate in the lower-left corner. The etching displays excellent contrast, sharp linework, and a clear, well-defined plate mark boundary.
The artwork is securely housed in a classic black wooden frame with a light cream matting and fully sealed paper backing with a secure wire hanger. A wonderful, collectible piece of American printmaking history perfect for a gallery wall, library, or traditional interior.
