A pair of McCoy Pottery Arcature vases, introduced in 1951. Each has a rectangular frame form with an open center window. The bodies are in McCoy's gray-blue glaze, which pools and drips toward the base. Each works as a vase or planter, and the pair can be used as bookends. Both are marked McCoy USA in relief on the underside.
Condition: One vase has a small chip to the top rim. Both show overall crazing to the glaze. There are small flecks of maroon glaze on the window floors, from the factory. The unglazed foot rims show wear and minor staining. There are no cracks or repairs.
